Taking care of our eyes
There are things you can do to keep your eyes and eyesight in good shape. These include:
Protecting your eyes from harsh sunlight by wearing sunglasses that meet Australian standard AS1067 EPF10.
Avoiding smoky areas and not smoking.
Getting regular and adequate sleep.
Reading in a well-lit environment.
Taking regular breaks from computer screens.
Maintaining a healthy diet that includes omega oils (contained in fish), and fresh fruit and vegetables.
Undergoing a regular and thorough eye examination.
